Ukrainian airline may be denied the right to fly

The state may suspend the certificate of the operator of the Ukrainian airlines ‘ air safety reasons.

This is stated in the press release of the Ministry of transport, sent out to journalists.

“The state aviation service of Ukraine can suspend the air operator certificate of the carrier Anda air from-for discrepancies to requirements of the Air code. The decision was made July 20 meeting of the permanent certification Commission of the Ministry of transport”, – stated in the message.

As noted in the Department, in accordance with the law, to ensure safety and smooth operation of the transport system of Ukraine in the part of air traffic, the airline needs to operate at least two aircraft.

Thus, the air operator certificate when the air is currently only one aircraft.

Earlier at the meeting of the permanent certification Commission of the Ministry of transport on 13 July, the airline was alerted to the necessity of amending the certificate of the second aircraft until 21 July.

Given the large number of passengers planning to use the services of the carrier during the weekend (22-23 July), the Commission decided to extend the deadline to eliminate inconsistencies until July 25.

“If the detected flaw will remain relevant, the SAS will be forced to suspend the air operator certificate Anda air from 00:00 (UTC) 25 July until the return to him of the second aircraft,” – concluded the Agency.

Recall that in may Anda air announced the opening of Charter flights Krivoy Rog – Batumi (Georgia) and Krivoy Rog – Antalya.
