Upgraded An-2-100 set the record for distance and speed.
Ukrainian pilots set a world record for distance flight by plane An-2-100 (modernized version of An-2, popularly known as “kukuruznik”).
The aircraft was on the closed route to Kiev, then to Lviv, then Poland. After that the team headed by captain Sergei Tarasyuk flew to Vinnitsa and then Kiev. The flight was carried out at the maximum speed for this type of aircraft – 225 km/h.
