Most of our customers are private individuals who make pretty good money to get a “toy”, says Yuri Yakovlev
Ukrainian company “Aeroprakt” sells double the aircraft in 30 countries. In an interview, said the chief designer of the company Yuri Yakovlev.
About 45 aircraft last year, Aeroprakt have sold into the European Union.
“The main customer in the EU is France. Also a lot of buying in Germany, Spain, Poland and Norway”, — said Yakovlev.
In Australia, the company sells about 20 aircraft per year. In the United States — 6-7 aircraft per year. Also there are buyers in Chile, Argentina, Brazil, Panama, Guatemala, South Africa and Kenya.
In the past year, the company Aeroprakt produced 91 double plane. Three of them left in Ukraine. One was bought by the security Service of Ukraine for special operations, two individuals.
“In South Africa and Kenya, our planes patrolling the reserves, — says Yuri Yakovlev. — Most of our customers are private individuals who make pretty good money to get a “toy”. A lot of our planes — I think about a quarter in flight schools, learn to fly them. Also, our aircraft are used for aerial photography, processing of fields. In Australia, for example, they are used for grazing animals.”
