Publicly guaranteed debt at may 31 totaled 262,3 billion or $10 billion.
Total public (direct and guaranteed) debt of Ukraine in may has decreased 1% ($0,79 billion) to $76,26 billion (as of 31 may) compared to the previous month.
This reads the data from the Ministry of Finance.
Public and publicly guaranteed debt at the end of may amounted to 1.9 trillion UAH, or $76.3 billion, against $ 2 trillion UAH, or $77,1 billion a month earlier.
The total amount of direct debt as of may 31 totaled UAH 1.7 trillion ($66.2 bn) against 1.8 trillion UAH ($66.7 billion) in April.
The direct external debt for the month decreased by $0.6 billion to 37.6 billion, while direct domestic debt decreased by UAH 6.1 billion to UAH 747,3 billion (in dollar equivalent to $28.6 billion).

Note that in April of this year decreased by 0.4% or $0.32 billion to $77 billion compared to the previous month.
As reported, Ukraine’s state debt in 2017 increased by 7.5% to us $76.3 billion equivalent, and 11% to 2.1 trillion – in the hryvnia equivalent, which is about 72% of GDP.
According to the Finance Ministry, the volume of payments on state debt of Ukraine will exceed 3 trillion UAH in the period up to 2045.
