Ukraine will begin to measure the volumes of gas to EU standards
The company is preparing to transition to the European measuring standards.
“This week our metrologists took part in the first meeting of the Board of standardization and Metrology of oil and gas complex”, — stated in the “Ukrtransgaz”.
The company noted that Ukraine needs to move from old Soviet standards to the new, adopted in the EU.
For example, if the gas is measured in cubic meters, in the future you will go to energy units in MJ or kWh or Gcal.
For this “Ukrtransgaz” you must enter a new technological regulations and modernize machinery in accordance with the new standards.
Recall that the volume of gas in underground storages of Ukraine as of March 15 decreased to 8,738 billion cubic meters.
