Ukraine will start producing its own helicopters

The new helicopter will be adapted for use by various intelligence agencies

JSC “Motor Sich” in 2018 plans to begin production of helicopters in Zaporozhye.

This was announced by MP from the President and General designer of JSC “Motor Sich” Vyacheslav Boguslayev.

“In 2018 JSC “Motor Sich” started production of helicopter own production of the helicopter “Hope”. This is a civil helicopter, designed for 7 passengers with a range of 1000 km, that is able to “fly” the whole of Ukraine. Now this helicopter is certified,” – said Boguslaev.

According to the President of JSC “Motor Sich”, the new helicopter can be adapted for use by SSES units, border patrol and other security services, as well as for the needs of the aircraft.

JSC “Motor Sich”, Zaporozhye enterprise which specializiruetsya on the production of aircraft engines and gas turbines. Products of JSC “Motor Sich” are operated on airplanes and helicopters in over 120 countries.
