The Alliance is working to give Ukraine the equipment of satellite communication. About this at a joint briefing with President Petro Poroshenko in Kiev said NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg.
Stoltenberg said that today at the meeting with the head of state reviewed the items of the comprehensive package of assistance to Ukraine, which was adopted in 2016, at the Warsaw NATO summit.
“Across 10 different trusts NATO countries have allocated almost 40 million euros to support Ukraine in such areas as command and control, cyber defence and medical rehabilitation. Now we are working to provide Ukraine with equipment for satellite communications”, – he stressed.
According to the Secretary General of the Alliance, in recent days, NATO has provided Ukraine with modern equipment for cyber-security.
“We also help key government institutions to investigate incidents in the field of cyber security like what happened recently”, he added.
