Ukraine will have its own low-cost airline

Omeljan predicts the creation of low-cost airline with Ukrainian and foreign investment in the fall.

The Minister of infrastructure of Ukraine Volodymyr Omelyan predicts the creation of a new low-cost airline with Ukrainian and foreign investment in the fall of 2017.

He said this in an interview Today.

“The tide will allow the creation of a new airline in the segment lowcost. Hopefully, it will register in the fall. Is private investment: 51% – Ukraine, 49% foreigners. The structure should be such, as only companies with Ukrainian registration can perform domestic flights,” – said the Minister.

We will remind, Omeljan said that this year in Ukraine must be registered domestic budget airline.

Omeljan previously stated that Ukraine can be a new airline, which could become a competitor to the MAU.
