In a short time on the territory of Ukraine shall earn payment system Apple Pay with which to pay for purchases in stores will be possible using a smartphone or a smart watch.
So, payment service Apple Pay may launch on the Ukrainian market in the second quarter of 2018.
This was stated by the head of e-business Alfa-Bank Ukraine Maxim Patrin, citing an anonymous source in one of the payment systems that operate on the Ukrainian market, according to PaySpace Magazine.
Alfa-Bank has launched in Ukraine a new digital service Alfa Digital, which will provide services for clients who want to have access to Finance online and in the mobile app. This service will allow you to add credit card to Apple Pay after launch of the service in the local market.
The Bank noted that experience in other countries shows that interest in mobile payments begins to grow only after the appearance on the market of Apple Pay and Samsung Pay. After at least one of these systems will go to Ukraine, Alfa also add in a mobile app this option. Customers can through mobile banking to add your card to the wallet Apple Pay.
