Ukraine will file a lawsuit to WTO against Russia

A lawsuit can be filed before the end of 2017.

Ukraine prepares claim against Russia to the WTO on the supply of agricultural products before the end of the year.

This was announced by Deputy Minister of economic development and trade Natalia Nikolskaya.

“We are completing the final work on supply to the WTO the claim on agricultural products,” she said.

According to her, the lawsuit will be to cover those commodity groups where the Ukrainian side has strong evidence base and the headings, where Ukrainian producers are ready to provide specific facts.

Nikolskaya noted that it already the fourth claim of Ukraine against Russia.

“On rail we are moving equipment to get the WTO ruling (in the corresponding claim) before the end of this year,” the official added.
