The Ukrainian Zenit launch vehicle is being prepared for launch into orbit Angolan satellite AngoSat at the Baikonur cosmodrome (Kazakhstan). Initially, the Ukrainian Zenit was signed for on delivery astrophysical satellite Spektr-RG.
At the same time on the website of state-owned enterprises in the section devoted to model rockets, it is noted that “launch services are provided by the joint enterprise International space services (Ukraine, Russia)”.
In KB also confirmed that the launch of the carrier rocket is scheduled for 2017. Exact date yet to be determined.
Carrier rocket Zenit-3SLБФ is a family of launch vehicles Zenit, using non-toxic propellants (liquid oxygen and kerosene RG-1). Used in the Sea launch program. Modified by the use of Baikonur and use only Russian-Ukrainian components. It is composed of a carrier rocket Zenit-2ЅБ and upper stage block DM-SLB, which in turn produces RF.
