Ukraine stopped the supply of water in the “LC”

In Luhansk OVGA said the reasons for the suspension of water supply in the occupied territory.

In the Luhansk region stopped the supply of water to areas that are under control of fighters of “LNR”. Deputy Chairman of the Lugansk regional military-civil administration Vladimir guts in the comments gave the reasons which resulted in this step.

“The reasons for the suspension of water supply two. Main is the default. We do not pay the party and we will therefore not have the funds to pay for electricity, therefore, forced to turn off. The second reason coincided with an emergency situation. On Monday, literally on the boundary line, 300 feet away, was a breakthrough, which partially stopped the water supply”, – said the Deputy Chairman of the Luhansk OVGA.

According to guts, the indebtedness is owed for past periods (partly in January for February). In addition, it has not been repaid debts for the last year and a half.

“A penny for it never came,” added the MEC.

The official expressed the hope to recover water will work next week. “We will, as usual, to negotiate. List some part of the money for electricity and to negotiate for the inclusion of water. I hope to resume the flow of water will be already next week,” he said.

Also in the Luhansk OVGA noted that assistance from the official Kiev, no problem, the situation will be addressed at the local level.

“We, as they say, all the bells are sounding, and say that the situation is problematic. But Kiev is, unfortunately, not yet. Therefore we solve the problem on their level, here on the site,” concluded the MEC.

In turn, the Deputy Minister for the temporarily occupied territories George Tooke in comments “Apostrophe” said he was not familiar with the situation, but suggested that the shutdown of water supply because of debts. “There, “Lugansk energy Association” (LEO) Grigorishin. And similar events with trip there are constantly going on,” he said.

Previously about the suspension of the supply of water to the occupied territory said the separatists. According to them, water supply in the occupied territory of the Luhansk region with Peter’s pumping station ended on 6 March.
