Ukraine sharply increased its exports of electricity

Ukraine for two months increased electricity exports by 37.7%.

In January-February 2017 Ukraine increased electricity exports by 37.7%, or 266 million kWh, to 972,4 million kWh, compared to the corresponding period in 2016 (706,4 million kWh).

This is evidenced by the balance of power, released on the website of the Ministry of energy and coal industry.

In February 2017 Ukraine increased electricity exports by 14.2%, or 51.5 million kWh, to 413,2 million kWh, compared to February 2016 (361,7 million kWh).

In January, Ukraine increased electricity exports by 62.8%, or 216,3 million kWh, to 561 million kWh, compared to January 2016 (344,7 million kWh).
