Ukraine has increased exports of poultry meat by 45%.
Ukraine in January-February 2017 exported 31.73 thousand tons of poultry meat and offal that on 45,4% more than in the same period of 2016.
This is evidenced by the State fiscal service.
According to the service, in monetary terms exports of these products increased by 37.8% to of 39.75 million. At the same time import of poultry meat and offal rose by 38.8% – to 16.08 thousand tons, in monetary terms – 28% to 6.4 million dollars.
In addition, according to SFS, the exports of pork in January-February compared with the corresponding period of 2016 increased by 56.7% – to 1.13 thousand tonnes. This product was delivered in the amount of 2.11 million dollars as against 1.07 million dollars in January-February 2016.
Import of pork in Ukraine during this period decreased by 33% to 450 tons. The country of this meat was imported for the sum of 742 thousand dollars, which is by 10.9% less than in January-February 2016.
Recall that in January this year Ukraine exported 10,993 thousand tons of poultry meat and offal, which is 50% more than the same period in 2016.
Pork exports in January compared with the same period of 2016 increased by 31% to 0.38 thousand tonnes.
