Antonov company and the Swiss company AIR-ION Technologies SA signed a Memorandum on partnership in the development, testing, certification and production of hybrid and electric unmanned aerial vehicles.
As reports a press-service of Antonov company, previously planned to produce four types of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) with a maximum takeoff weight of 1500 kg and a cruise speed of 185 km / h.
“The document provides for several stages of collaboration, the first of which partners will conduct research on global technology and market for the application of electric UAV as an air taxi as well as hybrid UAV in other civil and military purposes”, – is spoken in the message.
