Ukraine needs to lift the blockade of the territories of Donbas controlled by the separatists self-proclaimed “DNR” and “LNR”. This was stated by Russian President Vladimir Putin during a telephone conversation with Chancellor of Germany Angela Merkel and President of France Francois Hollande, the press service of the Kremlin.
“Separately addressed the difficult humanitarian situation in the South-East of Ukraine. Putin again stressed the need for a speedy withdrawal of Kiev’s blockade of the region and urgent measures to address socio-economic problems of the population of Donbass, as foreseen in the Minsk “Complex measures”, – stated in the message.
The Russian President also spoke out “in favor of urgently start work to implement the political aspects of the Minsk agreements”.
