To receive the next tranche from the IMF, Ukraine had to fulfill a few important conditions.
Ukraine may receive two tranches from the International monetary Fund before the end of this year. This was stated by the Minister of Finance of Ukraine Alexander danyluk in an interview to Ukrainian news. On the issue of the tranche size, in particular whether it will reach us $ 1.9 billion, the Minister said that this will be discussed with the IMF mission.
“The national Bank is highly conservative. I see how it is possible to receive two tranches, and while moving in this direction”, – said danyluk.
He also confirmed that the IMF mission on the revision of the program of crediting of Ukraine will come to the end of September.
“This week comes the IMF, and so it turns out that I will be in Kiev…I have been in constant contact with the management of the Fund and will support the process, even without being physically in Kiev”, – said the Minister.
Additionally, danylyuk said that the IMF mission arrives in late September, and “it will actually see where we are in each area”. According to danyluk, will discuss the state budget for 2018, which by that time must be approved by the Cabinet.
