Ukraine lags behind the plan of implementation of the Association Agreement with the European Union. This was stated by Vice Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic integration Ivanna klympush-Tsintsadze at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on Wednesday, may 31.
“We do a lot of what is behind in the schedule of implementation of the Agreement, and this margin is quite significant. I have already said in March that in 2016 Ukraine implemented of 130 planned acts of EU law 26 in its legislation,” she said.
Klympush-Tsintsadze noted that no one area of Agreement was not fully met, be it transport or Finance, services and customs.
At the same time the Vice-Premier added that in the agreement there are a number of positive results: exports of goods to the EU increased by 25% (in I quarter of 2017); adopted a number of European acts in the areas of energy, public procurement, protection of the environment.
Furthermore, there were 12 thousand DSTU given to EU standards almost all technical regulations, the law on openness of data, etc.
