NBU declared insolvent “Bank Boguslaw”.
The national Bank of Ukraine (NBU) has recognized the PJSC “Bank Boguslav” insolvent. The decision was made today, November 6, reports the press service of the national Bank.
Earlier the management of “Bank Boguslav” filed in the NBU plan for the implementation of certain activities necessary for the capital increase. During August-October 2017 the Bank has taken steps to comply, including through repayment of non-performing assets, increase the amount of collateral for loans.
However, according to the national Bank, this financial institution still has not implemented a restructuring plan in terms of increasing the share capital. As a result, the Bank failed to achieve the planned size of Charter capital and regulatory capital.
As of November 1, 2017 the amount of regulatory capital of the Bank was less than one third of the minimum level. In this regard, it was decided to include the “Bank Boguslaw” in the category of the insolvent.
“According to the Fund for guaranteeing deposits of natural persons as of 1 October 2017 96% (5,600) of all the depositors of PJSC” Bank Boguslav “will receive their deposits in full, as their size does not exceed the guaranteed Fund, the amount of 200 thousand UAH. Customers with large volumes of deposits will be paid up to the amount guaranteed by the Fund. The Fund will provide payment of the guaranteed amount of deposits with a volume of approximately 178 million UAH “, – explained in the national Bank.
