The volume of production of salt increased by 25%.
The state enterprise “Artemsol”, which is included in the management of the Ministry of agrarian policy and food of Ukraine, in February 2017, fulfilled the plan for the extraction of salt on 108,1%, which totaled 154,3 thousand tons of salt, — reported the press service of the agriculture Ministry.
According to the agriculture Ministry, the figure is 25% higher than last year.
The Ministry also recalled that in January 2017 the state also exceeded the targets for production. Since the beginning of the year produced 333 thousand tons of salt, which is 10.6% higher than planned and 32% more than last year.
“From the beginning of SE “artyomsol” has strengthened its position in export markets and increased shipments to foreign countries. In particular, for 2 months 2017 European consumers shipped to 122,1 thousand tons more than in the same period of 2016. In particular, substantially increased exports to Poland (59.2 thousand tonnes) and Hungary (by 56.3 thousand tons)”, — informed in the agriculture Ministry.
