The world economic forum has published an annual rating of the most safe and least safe countries for tourists.
The most dangerous country for tourists, analysts called Congo (20). “The Congolese armed forces and various armed groups and bandits operate across the country, they are quite cruel. As the Congolese military operations across the country, travelers are likely to encounter with the troops, armoured personnel carriers and attack helicopters”, – stated in the message.
19 – Thailand. Then in reverse order are: Jamaica, South Africa, Guatemala, Chad, Bangladesh, Mali, Lebanon, Philippines.
In 10th place was the Ukraine.
“Fighting between the armed forces of Ukraine and armed separatists, supported by Russia, is common in Eastern and South-Eastern regions of Ukraine, in particular in the areas of Donetsk region, Lugansk region and Crimea. Citizens continue to face harassment from the fighting”, – stated in the rating of our country.
The first top ten looks like this:

To generate this ranking, the WEF “measures the extent to which the country exposes tourists and enterprise security risks primarily associated with serious damage to people (violence and terrorism)”. This rating does not take into account minor crimes.
