Production of alcoholic beverages started to decline sharply.
The production of vodka with an alcohol content of less than 45.4% in Ukraine (excluding the temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Sevastopol and part of the zone of the antiterrorist operation) in June 2017 with the corresponding period in 2016 decreased by 11.6%, amounting to 936 thousand dal.

In this case by may 2017, the production of vodka grew by 10.5%. For the 6 months produced 6 million 437 thousand (-19,8% compared to the same period in 2016). The production of beer malt, not including non-alcoholic beer with alcohol content less than 0.5% in June 2017 at an annual rate decreased by 2.3% to 19.2 million has given in a month – grew by 3.1%. For the 6 months – 88,1 mln dal (-2%).
The production of cognac and brandy in June 2017 increased by 6.9% compared to June 2016 and $ 128 thousand, compared to may 2017 rose 0.4%. For the 6 months – 909 thousand (-21,7%).
The production of liqueurs, sweet liqueurs, spirit tinctures and other alcoholic beverages in June 2017 against March, 2016 increased by 18.1% and amounted to 531 thousand, compared to may 2017 – decreased by 2.6%. 6 months – 2 million 887 thousand dal (+9.6 per cent).
The production of cigarettes containing tobacco or tobacco mixtures with tobacco substitutes, in June 2017. compared with the same month in 2016 decreased by 16.7% and amounted to 7.3 billion pieces, compared to may 2017 – increased by 10.5%. For the 6 months 41.9 billion pieces (-10,3%).
