Oil transit through Ukraine by pipelines to Europe in January-October 2017 increased by 4.2% compared to the same period of 2016 – up to 11,738 million tons. This is evidenced by the “Ukrtransnafta”.
According to the company, the volume of oil transportation to refineries of Ukraine in January-October of 2017 amounted to 1,682 million tons, 43.1% more than in ten months of last year.
Thus, in January-October-2017 the share of transit in the total volume of oil transportation amounted to 87.5%, the proportion of pumping to refineries of Ukraine to 12.5%.
In October 2017, the transit of oil through Ukraine by pipeline transport increased by 6% compared to the same month last year – up to 1,365 million tons, transportation to the refineries of the country – on 68,2%, to 193,4 thousand tons.
Growth of supply in the country is associated with the re-10 Mar-2017 work section of the Odessa-Kremenchug, through which oil is supplied Azeri Light to PAO “Ukrtatnafta”.
As reported, oil transit through Ukraine by pipelines to Europe in 2016 decreased by 8.8% compared to 2015 – to 13,822 million tons, and transportation of oil refinery of the country – 12.5% to 1,406 million tons.
