Ukraine has signed an important cooperation agreement with NATO

Ukrainian army will be able to obtain technical resources from the member countries of NATO.

Intergovernmental agreement between Ukraine and NATO on the partnership for the support of the joint management of supplies and the subsequent exchange of notes entered into force for Ukraine as an associated state – this gives Ukraine access to the electronic database of the logistics of NATO. This was announced on 12 October, the press center of Ukraine’s mission to NATO.

“This event was another step in deepening cooperation between Ukraine and NATO for support and supply”, – noted in Mission.

Participation in the Partnership to support joint management of supplies to Ukraine will provide access to Logistics database e-NATO, which will be:

the exchange of information between member States regarding the needs of the Armed Forces in logistical assets, and participation in relevant tenders NATO;
conduct online purchases of a wide spectrum of logistical resources to ensure the needs of the Ukrainian army;
enable the prompt exchange of surplus assets among States parties;
to create a joint or multinational stocks financially-technical resources.

“Now there is a study of the issue of Ukraine’s accession to a number of other partnerships NATO Organization to support and supply that will contribute to a deeper integration of the Armed forces of Ukraine in the system of ensuring material and technical resources of the member States of NATO”, – stated in the mission.

Recall that in Ukraine in 2020 will be held parliamentary Assembly of NATO. This decision was taken at the NATO parliamentary Assembly in Bucharest.
