The foreign Ministry of Ukraine responded to Putin’s visit to Crimea.
The Ukrainian foreign Ministry handed a note of protest to the Russian foreign Ministry concerning the visit of Russian President Vladimir Putin in Sevastopol.
“The Ukrainian side considers the visit… a gross violation of Russia’s state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine… the Ministry of foreign Affairs handed over a note of protest,” – said in a statement on the Ministry website.
Putin’s visit began with a visit to the Sebastopol secondary school. Together with him came to the Peninsula and the head of the Russian government Dmitry Medvedev.
Also, in the framework of the working visit, Putin will get acquainted with the exposition “the History of Chersonesos in the ancient period”, and will attend the annual music festival “Opera in Chersonesos”.
