Coal stocks in warehouses of thermal power plants of Ukraine for the week decreased by 5.7%.
Coal stocks in warehouses of thermal power plants (TPPs) of Ukraine in the period from 10 to 17 July decreased by 5.7% (140,5 thousand tons) – up to 2 million 314,6 thousand tons.
According to the Ministry of energy and coal industry, as of the morning of 17 June, the reserves of coal of the anthracite group made up 735,1 million tonnes (-1,3% or 9.4 thousand tons by July 10), gas group – 1 579,5 million tons (-7,7% or of 131.2 thousand tons).
From 10 to 17 July, the reserves of coal in warehouses of thermal power plants (CHP) of Ukraine in the period increased by 19.1% (to 37.9 thousand tons) – up to 236 thousand tons. In particular, stocks of anthracite coal on the morning of July 17, amount to 111 thousand tons (+25.6% or 22.6 thousand tons by July 10), a gas – 125,1 thousand tonnes (+14% or 15.4 thousand tons).
In 2016 TPPs of Ukraine has increased coal consumption by 9.4% (2,701 million tonnes) compared to 2015 year to 31 million 338,6 thousand tons. Consumption brands, PH+T has amounted to 12 million 824,1 kt, D+, D – 18 514,6 million tons.
