Ukraine has one year to conduct key reforms, Khan

Also the EU Commissioner stated the need for medical reform and privatization of SOEs.

Ukraine has about a year to implement key reforms identified in the strategy to 2020.

This was announced today during a press conference, said EU Commissioner for European neighbourhood policy and enlargement Johannes Hahn.

“We must not forget that we have time only to summer of next year to solve all these questions, because then immediately begin the campaign, this time not a very favorable time for implementation of reforms. We have approximately one year to enter all these steps,” said Khan.

According to him, we are talking primarily about medical, pension and land reforms, and privatization of state enterprises.
