In the Ukraine, a bill on the registration in the police car on foreign numbers.
In the Ukrainian Parliament, 22 June 2017, was registered a draft law №6626 “On amendments to the Law of Ukraine “About Ukraine” by individual police powers”.
The initiators of the bill were made by MPs Anton Geraschenko, Iryna Yefremova Lyudmila Denisova.
The draft law provides for extension of police powers in the field of road patrol, temporary detention and transport. As stated in the explanatory note, the law will help initially to organize vehicles with a foreign registration in Ukraine.
Bill No. 6626 it is proposed to Supplement part 1 of article 26 of the Law of Ukraine “On the National police” p. 141 and part 3, which will allow police to build their own database (banks) data of vehicles registered abroad, who are temporarily on the territory of Ukraine, using both the information available and received from GFS.
The authors of the law believe that the adoption of the document will be the first step to the formation of legal certainty in the matter of the state audit office long-stay car on foreign registration in Ukraine are widely used by Ukrainian citizens.
“The police still intend to keep records on the vehicles of foreign registration, but without registration at the Ukrainian license plates, as it was in the early 2000s”, — writes the edition.
