Ukraine has increased the trade deficit

In January-July 2017 the foreign trade deficit amounted to 3,187 billion.

External balance of goods and services of Ukraine in January-July 2017 deficit at the level of 3,187 billion, 20.2% higher than the deficit for January-July 2016 at the level of 2,652 billion. It is reported by the national Bank of Ukraine.

It is noted that the deficit of foreign merchandise trade in January-July compared with the same period of the previous year increased by 31.2 per cent to 4,259 billion, the foreign trade surplus in services has increased 1.8 times – up to 1,072 billion.

According to the NBU, in July the foreign trade deficit amounted to $ 900 million, the trade deficit in goods – 1,082 billion, the surplus on trade in services – 182 million dollars.
