Ukraine has filed new and unprecedented evidence to the Crimean claim to the Russian Federation at the European court of human rights (ECHR).
This was stated by the Minister of justice of Ukraine Pavel Petrenko.
“Over the past few months we have done a great job on the preparation and submission of additional clarification on Crimean to the first case. There are a number of facts and evidence absolutely new and unprecedented, which we plan to announce in terms of what we can say according to the regulations of the ECHR”, – quotes the Minister Interfax-Ukraine.
Petrenko optimistic about the verdict.
“With the evidence and explanations which we filed on the first Crimean case, the chances of the Russians to lie and to deny something almost there,” he said.
We will remind, the Ministry of justice of Ukraine has prepared the sixth lawsuit in the European court of human rights and is waiting for approval by the Majlis of the Crimean Tatar people.
All in all, Ukraine has filed five lawsuits with the European court of human rights (ECHR) due to the annexation of the Crimea by Russia. The amount of claims of claims is $ 1 trillion UAH.
In 2014, after the illegal annexation of Crimea to Russia the self-proclaimed authorities announced the nationalization of enterprises located there.
