Ukraine has closed more than 100 currency exchange offices

Illegal currency exchange worked in Kiev, Donetsk, Zaporozhye, Ivano-Frankivsk and other regions of the country.

The national Bank of Ukraine for 9 months of 2017 revealed 101 illegal foreign currency exchange office. On Tuesday, October 10, reported the press service of the NBU.

It is noted that in January-September of the current year, the NBU has made 770 of inspections points for the exchange of currency non-Bank financial institutions. The inspections were carried out in Kiev and in all oblasts of Ukraine.

Illegal currency exchange worked in Kiev, Donetsk, Transcarpathian, Zaporozhye, Ivano-Frankivsk, Kyiv, Kirovograd, Lviv, Mykolayiv, Ternopil, Kharkiv and Chernivtsi regions.

Information on illegal currency exchange points of the NBU reports to law enforcement. The regulator notes that the most effective is the collaboration with units to protect the economy of the National police of Ukraine in Kiev, Kyiv, Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Ternopil regions, from which come the measures, acceptance of the termination of the activities of illegal currency exchange.
