Ukrainian banks in January-September reduced the number of active divisions in 601 – to 9715.
This is evidenced by data of the National Bank of Ukraine.
Thus, among the operating banks, the largest number of branches for 9 months of closed state-owned Oschadbank – 341, and two banks with foreign capital – PRAVEX-Bank (45) and UkrSibbank (40).
It is noted that the number of branches fell due to the withdrawal from the market of financial institutions, as Diamantbank (88), platinum (69) and national capital (47).
In addition, a number of banks opened new offices. So, the greatest number of new branches since the beginning of year banks Alfa-Bank (86), Credit Optima Bank (33), Ukrbudinvestbank (15) and UGB (10).
