World’s first doctors managed to carry out a dangerous operation.
In Ukraine the specialists of the Kiev Institute of neurosurgery named after Romodanov conducted a unique operation, which did not dare to do in the world, removed the tumor on the brain.
In addition, after the operation the patient is not taken to ICU and in General ward.
The Ukrainians were the first in the world to combine a special technology, and received a positive result.
From the patient who had the surgery, there was a big tumour. The risk was in the fact that she was pressing on the nerves, and the man could be paralyzed at any time.
First, the surgeons have created a computer model of the tumor to see what parts of the brain it comes in contact.
This was a navigation map for the computer system and the doctor.
To combat the tumor, the doctors chose a very unusual method.
“It’s the only way to remove the tumor and save the patient’s quality of life,” commented the surgeon.
Now the Ukrainian doctors will study the doctors from other countries.
