It seems that Russia still has a chance to participate in “Eurovision” in Kiev. As it became known, this will need to find a replacement for Yulia Samoilova with another representative who did not violate Ukrainian laws.
According to reports by RIA Novosti, this statement was made by Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Vyacheslav Kirilenko in the air of “Ukrainian radio”.
“Of course, we are ready to accept all 43 participating countries of “Eurovision”. Including representatives from Russia. Russia itself may find a way out of this situation, offering the participant or the participant who has no problems with Ukrainian legislation”, — said Vyacheslav.
Kirilenko noted that, in his opinion, the whole situation around the competition is the Russian provocation: “We see that the provocation with the “Eurovision” from Russia is only a small link in the long chain of provocations and actions aimed at aggravating the situation in Ukraine.”
