Ukraine fell out of the top ten world steel producers

Ukraine currently occupies the 11th position in the world ranking.

Ukrainian steelmakers in February 2017, has reduced steel production by 3.6% compared to February 2016 year – to 1900000 tons, occupying eleventh place in the list of world steel producers.

According to the Association report, in February 2017 the lead in the ranking of world steel producers have kept China – 61200000 tons (an increase compared to the same period in 2016 was 4.6%). Followed by Japan, India, USA, Russia, South Korea, Germany, Turkey and Brazil.

In February 2017, compared with the same period last year 67 countries included in the rating of Association, steel production increased overall by 4.1% – up to 121 600 000 tonnes.

Note that Ukraine in 2013 took the seventh place in the ranking of world steel Association, vipralipsa 30400000 tons of steel. In 2014, our country has fallen to 10th place with a score of smelting 27200000 tons. By the end of 2015 Ukraine has retained the 10-th position in the sectoral ranking.
