The worst situation is in Kiev.
As a result of accidents on the roads of Ukraine killed 93 persons per one million population. This level of mortality has become one of the highest rates in the world.
Mortality on roads in Ukraine is three to four times more than in European countries reported in the study of the Ukrainian analytical group Corestone Corporation.
In this rating Ukraine is ahead of only Georgia (163,6), (160,4), Armenia (114,7), India (111,5), USA (109,5), Bulgaria (98,6), Turkey (95,7), Latvia (94,5) and Albania (93.5 per).
The best performance with a small fraction of deaths in road accidents belong to the Scandinavian countries and Malta.
So, in Norway, in a traffic accident dies of 22.5 people per one million in Malta, the figure is 25.5, the third place is Sweden with a score of 26.4.
In Corestone Corporation noted that the number of accidents in Ukraine, leading Kiev, where for ten years there have been more than 500 thousands of accidents with a fatal outcome.
Among the types of accidents in 2016, hitting motorists on bicyclists is 6% of the total.
