Ukraine could face new large-scale cyber attack on government agencies and private companies.
This is stated in the message on the website of the SBU.
“The main goal is to disrupt regular functioning of the information systems that could destabilize the situation in the country. Specialists of security service of Ukraine received information that the attack can be performed using updates, including public application software”, – stated in the message.
It is noted that the mechanism of implementation of the new attacks can be similar to a cyber attack of June 2017.
SBU advised Ukrainians to take immediate steps to protect their computers from malicious software.
