Ukraine exported a record amount of pork

In January-February it was exported 69 million tons of pork.

In the first two months of 2019 Ukraine set a new record for the supply of pork to foreign markets.

In January-February it was exported 69 million tons of pork, which is 77,4% increase 2017 (36 kt) and by 42.7% – 2018 (44,5 thousand tons).

The main markets for pork in February were: Saudi Arabia – 8.4 million tons, Netherlands – 4.4 thousand tons, Slovakia – 3.2 thousand tons and Azerbaijan – 1,9 thousand tons, Iraq – 1.5 thousand . t Armenia – 1.3 thousand tons, Germany – 1.3 thousand tons, Moldova – 1,14 kt.

At the same time, exports of chicken meat in February reached almost the level of 2017 and to 9.7 thousand tons with a total value of 3.8 million dollars.

The main countries-suppliers of chicken meat were: Poland – 6,3 thousand tons, Hungary – 1.3 thousand tons and Germany – 890 T.
