Recall that in March, the Ukrainians rebelled against the participation of Yulia Samoilova in a musical contest as a singer in a wheelchair were in the Crimea. The security service of Ukraine has forbidden Yulia entry to the territory of his country for three years.
The result EBU (broadcasting Union) has threatened Ukraine with sanctions. However, it seems that nothing is able to affect the decision of the Ukrainian authorities. Deputy Prime Minister said he was ready to re-clarify the position of the country. The politician is convinced that the members of the EBU will understand: “I Believe that our position will be perceived by members of the EBU. If after the contest there will be a question of any sanctions against Ukraine in connection with the participation of Russia, will further clarify the situation. The ban on entry Samoilova can have some consequences, and may not have any. For any adverse consequences should be a consolidated decision of the EBU, and this decision provides for special procedures for voting”.
