America can supply scarce brand of fuel.
Centrenergo state continues negotiations with the USA regarding the supplies of scarce coal grades to Ukraine.This was stated by Deputy Minister of energy and coal industry of Ukraine Natalia Boyko.
“We had a blockade, however, we were no rolling blackouts. Private companies started to bring coal from South Africa, Centrenergo is negotiating with the United States. This was supported by the Minister. If we thecontractual, it will be positive,” – said Boyko.
According to her, Ukraine is not able to abruptly abandon the use of coal.
“It is also a great social burden on the government, busy (in the coal-mining sector – ed.) most of the population”, – said the Deputy Minister.
