Ukraine broke last year’s record soybean exports

The largest importer of soybeans from Ukraine was Turkey.

By the end of 2016/2017 marketing year (September-August) Ukraine exported 2.9 million tons of soybeans, which is 23% higher than in the previous season and a record of external shipments for the entire history of observations.

The largest buyers of Ukrainian oilseeds in the past season were Turkey with 26% of total exports, Iran – 20% Egypt – 20%.
