The Verkhovna Rada has asked the United States to consider the conclusion with Ukraine of the defense agreement and the granting Ukraine of the status of the main ally outside NATO. For this decision voted 232 deputies.
The initiators of the draft resolution No. 6111 are the representatives of different parliamentary factions.
“Granting Ukraine the status of the main ally outside NATO and the bilateral defence agreement between Ukraine and the USA will have a huge impact on the cessation of Russian aggression against Ukraine, deter the aggressor and to prevent the incitement of war in Europe. It is in the interests of Ukraine, the USA, Europe and the whole world”, – the statement says Happy.
