Ukraine and Moldova have agreed about simplification of border crossing

Joint transmission will work in all areas of the Moldovan-Ukrainian border.

The government of Moldova approved the Agreement on the introduction of joint customs and border control on the Moldovan-Ukrainian border. This was stated by the press service of the government.

“Joint transmission will operate at all border crossing points of Moldovan-Ukrainian border, and the main purpose of introducing joint control – the simplification of clearance procedures when crossing the state border”, – stated in the message.

The agreement between the governments of Moldova and Ukraine on joint customs and border control on the border was signed in early October in Chisinau during the visit to Moldova Prime Minister of Ukraine Vladimir Groisman.

We will remind, earlier the Cabinet approved a joint control of Ukraine and Moldova abroad.

As reported, the European Parliament will tighten control on the borders of the Schengen 2020.
