The corresponding agreement contributes to improving the investment attractiveness of Ukraine.
Cooperation of Ukraine and Germany as part of the core activities of national associations of engineers-consultants attract new investment in the industry and will allow the establishment of transparent contracts in the construction market of Ukraine.
Deputy Minister of regional development, construction and housing and communal services Leo Partskhaladze during a meeting of Association of engineers-consultants of Germany and Ukraine in the Ministry of regional development spoke about the mutual benefits of such cooperation.
“One of the important tasks of the Ministry is to improve the business climate in the country and to attract investments in construction. We are moving to Europe, and there is no doubt that the necessary step is to bring the provisions on the Ukrainian market in accordance with the European system. I am sure that professional cooperation with Germany will help to create clear and transparent to the European community rules, displays of the construction industry in Ukraine to a whole new level, making our country a more attractive investment,” – said Partskhaladze.
According to him, such cooperation will become the basis for developing high-quality investment portfolio and effective efforts to realize this potential. Speech, in particular, the transparent conclusion of the contract on contracts of the International Federation of engineers-consultants (FIDIC), which is recommended by most international financial institutions engaged in financing of investment projects in Ukraine, in particular the world Bank.
In turn, the State Secretary of the Federal Ministry of transport and digital infrastructure Rainer Bomb said that he was glad to cooperate for the development of construction industry of Ukraine.
“We support Ukraine’s desire to move forward and to reach a qualitatively new level of management, so we are ready to provide full support in reforming the construction industry. Repeatedly visited the Ukraine, I noticed that we have a lot in common, so I will be glad to fruitful cooperation for the mutual result,” said Rainer Bomba.
The results of the meetings between the German Association “Verband Beratender Ingenieure” (VBI) in the person of President Volker Cornelius, and Ukrainian Public Union “international Guild of engineers” (IPCC) in the face of President Alexander Nepomnyashchy signed a Memorandum of cooperation providing for the joint steps to improve construction activities.
