The Ministers of defence of Ukraine Stepan Poltorak and Canada harjit Singh Sajan signed a defense agreement
This is stated on the page of the canadian Armed forces in Facebook.
“The signing of the document, which we are planning right now to sign, will allow us to expand our cooperation, to make this cooperation more constructive and useful for both Ukraine and Canada,” said Poltorak before signing.
In turn, the canadian defence Minister said he was proud of the fact that his signature will be under the cooperation agreement between the defense ministries of both countries.
“The agreement will allow us to cooperate more closely in matters of security and anxiety in the defence sector, as well as better support each other,” he said.
In addition, the canadian Minister recalled the extension of the deadline for training members of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the framework of operation Unifier until 2019.
