The Ministry of internal security of the United States expressed readiness to help in the fight against the spread of computer virus WannaCry as foreign partners of the United States and American organizations, said in an official statement.
“We are actively sharing information related to this event and is ready to provide technical support and assistance, if necessary, to our partners, both in the United States and internationally. The Ministry employs professionals in the field of cyber security who can provide expertise and support to critical infrastructure facilities”, – stated in the document.
In addition, the Ministry has advised American citizens to avoid infecting computers WannaCry to upgrade the software, never open unknown files and links in the message that came via e-mail, and backup files.
The Ministry also mentioned that back in March Microsoft released a program that if you install will allow you to remove the vulnerability that allows the virus WannaCry “infect” it.
