The Minister said that in an interview with Russian Ambassador was attended by members of his senatorial team.
The attorney General and Minister of justice Jeff sessions said at a press conference on 2 March that the meeting with the Russian Ambassador to the U.S. Sergei Kislyak discussed the issues of terrorism and conflict in Ukraine.
He said that the initiator of the meeting was made by Kislyak. In conversation took part the members of the team and Roman sessions, which in 2016 held a post of the Senator.
“We talked a little about terrorism, as I remember, and then suddenly appeared in Ukraine, because the day before my office was the Ukrainian Ambassador. He (Kislyak − ed) said that Russia did nothing wrong,” said sessions.
The attorney General added that “didn’t remember discussing any political issues”.
Earlier it was reported that sessions said withdrawal in investigations regarding possible contacts of the team of Donald trump with the Russian side.
