Two climbers killed in a “mountain-killer” in the Himalayas

Rescuers failed to detect traces of Spanish and Argentinean climbers, a week ago, missing on mount Nangaparbat in the Himalayas, they died.

On MT nangaparbat the 56-year-old Serin went with Argentine climber Mariano Galvan (Mariano Galván) in the expedition of 13 people. Due to weather conditions most of the expedition returned to camp. However Serin and Galvan separated from the group and went another route. The Spaniard and the Argentinian went missing last Saturday. Racetracker (GPS system to track the movement of athletes) showed a fall of 150 meters, after which went out at the height about six thousand metres.

The search began only on Wednesday, but after three hours they had to stop due to bad weather conditions. The next time the helicopter was able to rise only on Saturday at dawn. The result of the search on the spot pointed to Racetracker, was discovered a huge snow formed from avalanches. Traces athletes failed to find.
