Twitter launches “spying” for the users of the network

Popular social network will tighten the verification of users.

Not so long ago representatives of all major companies and social networking caused the US Congress to discuss issues of user verification and what material are allowed for distribution in the framework of the services provided. The response with the promise to tighten the verification procedure has not kept itself waiting. Now lose the badges confirm the account within Twitter not only for misconduct in the vastness of the resource itself, but also beyond.

This amendment to the General code of rules of Twitter have been added more recently, after the initial review of the items relating to verification of your identity. Now that sounds like “the Causes of deprivation confirm the account may relate to actions within Twitter and beyond”.

If very simple words — within Twitter, the user is still able to maintain its reputation as an honest and decent citizen, but if the company finds on his wall “Vkontakte” or Facebook posts unexpected with the material of extremist character, any other offensive or questionable content icon confirmation immediately removed, and the user is taken note of in the relevant services.

Further sanctions, respectively, which is not stated directly, but implied that — depending on the behavior of the user can be very different from deleting the account to report it to the authorities.

Against the background of a new amendment support Twitter intend to re-verification of previously verified accounts a total of 287 thousand users. How exactly will occur this check, however, is not disclosed.

The overall goal of the new rule is to make the confirm icon on the account verification not only by the fact that it is a real person, but direct proof of its propriety and decent behaviour within directly of Twitter users, and even on the world wide web.
