Education in Hong Kong is one of the best in the world.

Average children do not like to go to school, but little Hong Kong every morning and hurry to school as a holiday.

We found that doing school in Hong Kong is so cool.

1. Pride in their students

All awards, certificates and diplomas are posted directly on the exterior walls of the school. Everyone who passes by can see all the achievements of the students. Trophies and medals is also exposed to the public and serve as a source of pride for the whole school.

2. Bright facades

Any neutral colour of the walls! School facades painted with funny drawings that make every building unique. Such buildings differ from the typical buildings around and turn the school into a place where you really want to come every day. Many of the paintings not only decorate walls but also serve as an addition to the school material.

3. Custom educational space

Classes, libraries, cafeterias and recreational areas resemble more a Google office than a school to which we are accustomed. For example, on the roof of the school can be a little garden for rest and study, and in the classroom there are swings and a Jogging track. This is complemented by a stylish and vibrant room design and ergonomics the school building.

4. Interaction with family

Involvement of parents in the learning process of the children is an important component of education in Hong Kong. In schools there are parent meetings, and workshops or lectures designed to help students and their parents to find a common language. In lectures like “How can I help my child learn better” parents not only listen to the teacher, but also perform tasks — individual, pair, group. In addition, the schools always have a place for younger siblings of current students so the family can learn together.

5. British quality

Hong Kong — the former British colony, largely preserved the English traditions. The training is in English and Chinese at the same time, so all the students speak English perfectly. The education system meets the highest British standards and produces qualified professionals that are in demand around the world.

6. The modernization process

More modern technology, less harm to the environment. Modern training seeks to minimize the number of paper books, notebooks, class journals and diaries and transfer process to digital format. Electronic media last longer than paper textbooks that weigh much less and their production is not so much harmful to the nature as a paper mill.

7. No exams for the first 6 years

To learn children start quite early — with 3 years in kindergartens is already preparing for school. But the good news is that at the 1st stage of education not have to pass any exams, children simply absorb knowledge and learn to apply them in real life, not tests.

8. The spirit of competition

Children from the very beginning are taught to be the best. The lists of the most promising students are posted in open access, to large corporates to sponsor training of their future talented professionals. The fight for first place in this case is the struggle for the future.

9. Strict discipline

Strict adherence to the rules — a characteristic of all Chinese in General and of Hong Kong residents in particular. All schools have codes of conduct and are required to wear school uniforms. Strict discipline promotes academic achievement and teaches students from childhood to take responsibility for themselves and their future.

10. Mandatory sports education

Sport is an integral part of studying in Hong Kong. Children are taught to keep yourself in shape, make quick decisions, to work in a team and take care of your health and mental balance. This helps them to team games, gymnastics, swimming, Chinese martial arts and other sports.

11. Learning is not only sitting behind their desks

An important part of the time was devoted to preparing the child for adult life. Children develop versatile: they are a creative, hold festivals, competitions, holidays, tea parties, to which the disciples will need something to bake. Kids are given to play in different profession, so they understand what you want to be in the future, the older children develop in the chosen direction.

12. Love to each student

Despite the harsh discipline and the same school uniform, all pupils receive the necessary amount of attention and care. The development of personal qualities and talents of each individual child is an important component of the educational process in Hong Kong, which allows you to grow not just highly skilled professionals, and a happy and holistic personalities.
